7 VII 7
what do you mean by LIFESTYLE? your friends live lavishly? dress poorly? use credit cards too much? You know what I mean. MSNBC does not tell the whole picture. They hardly covered the Benghazi attack (and if you dont know what I mean by that, then huge FACEPALM for you)
Fudge_Brownie
He means he is not ok with two same gender people having sex because it makes him uncomfortable. But 'not approving with their lifestyle' sounds so much more sophisticated and reasonable than saying "it grosses me out, so i dont think you should do it"
flyfishing3
thats not actually what i was after. i wanted dave to admit he believes homsexuality is a learned deviant behavior and not a natural attraction like Heterosexuality is. Being attracted to the same gender is not natural, is what i believe he believes unless he can correct me.
Burn-E
I don't know where Dave stands but I'll state my beliefs on this question. Same sex attraction can be something someone is born with and it can be something that is developed as a result of abuse as a child. I know those who fall into each category. I have friends and family with whom I have had extensive conversations exploring their experiences and / or helping them as they work through how their attraction developed. Whatever the source of the attraction acting sexually on that attraction is against God's law. There are many tendencies and attractions that humans are born with that we must learn to control. Each, as Paul states in the Bible, has a thorn in the flesh he or she may have to bear throughout life. I don't condemn anyone for their attractions or decisions. As brothers and sisters we are called to love each other and support each other through our decisions in life. When I was a missionary in France I met a man on the street one day. As we struck up a conversation he looked at the black badge I wore on my shirt which stated my name and that I was a representative of Jesus Christ. He said, "You don't want to talk to me, I'm gay, there's no way to reconcile our differences." When I asked him why he felt that way, he bluntly asked, "What do you think of me? God condemns me for who I am and what I do." I looked him in the eye and said, "I love you because you are my brother. I may not agree with your decisions but I know God does not condemn you either." Would a father throw his 3 year old son out of the house just because he was disobedient? Not the God I know. We are adolescents, spiritual adolescents going through a physical, mortal, and imperfect experience. What we learn by faith will progress us to become more like They (father and mother in heaven) who created us.

flyfishing3
boy they need to shut him up. Mitt Romney didn't want to be president, anyway. That's what Tagg Romney, Mitt's oldest son, told the Boston Globe for its big post-mortem on his father's failed presidential bid published on Sunday. Burn-E
Then again it's not like the Boston Globe might make something up to embarrass Romney, or misquote his son. Would they? Oh wait, guess who mischaracterized this article? Mike the article says he was a reluctant candidate at the outset not once he committed. And if anyone is being truthful who has been through that process they'll admit they question whether the complete loss of privacy and all the slander that comes with it is worth it. Sheesh - you plucked what you wanted to think out of article - which is really actually very in depth
