Burn-E
So the question is, would the country EVER elect another man with the name George Bush? Because if so, this guy is building all the credentials to potentially be that Republican candidate in 16 years. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature&v=pqkaBA8Ektc First Texas Land Commissioner, then Lt. Governor or Congressman, then Governor or Senator, then the Big House.
flyfishing3
jeb is going to run. IMO he will lose if HC runs. He has a chance. people like me are still super bitter about W. if there is a large enough break, he earns his bones, sure he has a chance. Burn-E
Jeb won't run if it's against Hillary - and honestly, there are other Republican candidates with better credentials now than previously. Way too early to be talking about that. But Jeb is already hamfisting it with his new book positions on immigration.
Burn-E
I'm going to keep hammering at this question, "Why Obama won't reach across the aisle to work with the Republicans" because it's the obvious issue. And apparently even strong Democratic supporters who have worked closely in previous democratic administrations and campaigns see the same pattern and are puzzled by his behavior and the rationale that seems to be driving the decisions: My Unrecognizable Democratic Party The stakes are too high, please get serious about governing before it's too late. Backgrounder on Van Dyk and what he thought of Obama in the 2008 Primary.
Fudge_Brownie
But Jeb is already hamfisting it with his new book positions on immigration. With so many republicans pumping out rhetoric and proposed laws that seem to alienate many conservatives for being stupid, uneducated, or perhaps not "modern" enough, I keep wondering why they do it? I'm not trying to imply that all my ideas are right and these guys are therefore dumb, but I think you know what I'm talking about. Is it because they really believe the majority of their voter base aren't as well represented by the media outlets, but they will all show up on vote day? Are they trying to lead with what they believe is good for society even if we don't want it to do us a favor? Or are they just delusional?I know maybe this speculative and broad question might not be the kind of conversation you want to have, but I'm hoping you (Alain or others) have some quality insight on it. flyfishing3
primary's are won by the Koo Koo birds. you have to be extreme part of the campaign, then try to PIVOT back to the middle for the big run.

7 VII 7
I am floored how people still feel they made a the right choice. Most likely they don't want to admit it and keep it buried down deep and use it to make rash choices and yell at people for not believing what they believe but want tolerance

Burn-E
Everybody wants to talk to him and hear how Obamacare is a debacle compared to Mass. At least that's what he thinks. Seriously he needs to go make a movie or something and earn his unearned Nobel prize like Gore - find something to keep him busy and off the TV.
