BlackT5
Use virtual box and install XP on it. I got vida up and running with it on both my vista machines. Now I just need a car to connect to so I can try out dice.
volvos60t5x
so you mean, install xp on one part of the HD with virtual box and run it?
BlackT5
Install the virtual box program on vista. A wizard will pop up where you allocate memory and hard drive space to it. Give it 2 gigs of ram and 40 gigs of storage to be safe. Once it's setup, it will be looking for an install cd. Put in a bootable xp install disc and it will install into virtual box. It's like having a computer on your computer. Put on service pack 3 and install XML and Framework 2.0 as described in the first post and then you can put the vida disc in and it will install on the virtual xp machine
ARD - Lucky
I ran VIDA in the virtual machine Microsoft provides for Windows 7 and was not thrilled with the performance. For the $90 to upgrade to Windows 7 pro it was certainly worth it to me.

volvos60t5x
well finally with Lucky help, i installed the VIDA/DICE, on Windows 7 Pro you dont need to do almost anything, just put the dvd, select All in one, then wait about 20 min. After that reboot, use the crack.exe and start VIDA and complet the configuration. Now i need time to play with this thing lol.
