Alboguy
Ok here is the deal. When i put my summer tires comets with new tires the car started vibrating in the highway. It didnt do that with my winter rims. I got the wheels rebalanced it got better but not 100%. One of the rims has a bent and my rack opinion is leaking. the suspension is tight, bilstein yellow with ipd springs, recent axels, rotors and pads, aligment is good. could the bent rims cause it or the rack opinion. thanks for your suggestions. Burn-E
Yes, a bent wheel will cause harmonic vibration at speed. Put the other wheels back on, if the vibration goes away you have your answer.
James A Sousa
Better yet, go for a test drive after you put each winter wheel back on - you might find the culprit. My tire shop will check wheels/tires for free.
