boxpin
Tracking down an a/c problem. Looks like its the BLU/BLK wire coming from the ECM. I have not grounded this wire but know if I do the A/C will work. I have another ECM but its the ARD tune and its for a manual. I fear I might cause damage if I put it in this auto. Questions: 1. can I drop the ARD in to test? 2. can I jump the blu/blk wire to ground?
boxpin
Was thinking about it and realized that blu/blk is not going to have ground on it until the engine is running. Started the car back up and it works. Gotta love intermittent issues.
winterhalo
Time to start swapping parts from the fleet. How is the A/C pressure sensor? How is the pressure in the system?
boxpin
This just happens when it wants to happen. When it works its fantastic. I did swap the pressure sensor when this all started happening. No change. When it happened yesterday I was able to test the sensor wires and there was no voltage on the wire so I know the problem is before the switch. I did replace the blue relay behind the glove box with a new Bosch...I will let that go for awhile and see if it fails again. I left the glove box out and put my meter in the hole so if it goes again I can pull over and test the socket to see who is at fault. (this is the silver wagon in the fleet)
