t-townS70
So I bought this evo prosport gauge and I tried installing it. Here's how it's set up Five wires from the gauge: -White (12V accessory power) -Red (12V accessory power) -Orange (12V headlight switched on) -Black (Ground) -Green (Connects to the white wire on sender) I have the Red and white wires tapped to the 12V blue and yellow striped wire on the wiring harness on the back of the headlight switch. I have the Orange tapped to the pink supposed (headlight wire) the green is connected to the white accessory wire and the black is connected to the other black on the switch. All of this is connected and the gauge won't even light up. Any suggestions? I have a 99 S70 T5m if that helps I don't know what to do next I'm thinking about sending the gauge back to get it tested but I can't return it now because I've already tried to install it. Zappo
Bad power or bad ground. The gauge will light up regardless of the orange wire, so check your white, red and black wires for connection. I grounded my black wire to the body, and I am pretty sure I ran the red and white wires together before connecting to power.
