Vadis Diagram.

Hey all.

For my 98 v70 T5. I am in need of a Vadis diagram of the engine coolant system. One of the heater core hoses burst on me (luckily while idling in a parking lot and not on the road) and I decided it was a good time to just replace all the coolant hoses.

And yes I already know not to order aftermarket heater core lines.

I know its probably a silly request but thanks in advance.

Hi, I don't have a vadis diagram, but you only need two hoses. Shown here as numbers 23 and 24.

Also since you have a turbo there are also two small rubber hoses that bring coolant to and from your turbo. One is easy to access on the passenger side of the engine by the heat shield. The return from the turbo is more difficult since the rubber piece actually connects to the bottom of the turbo. It is very close to where you will be working to replace the two heat hose lines.

They are listed here as part numbers 3 and 5. I had my turbo out when I swapped these four parts. At a minimum you'll need to remove all the air ducting in the area.

Have you already replace the other coolant lines?

Actually for the turbo coolant return, the rubber piece doesn't attach directly to the turbo, but it does sit underneath it. You'll need input from others about whether this can be accessed with the turbo in place.
