Boxman
I've got a problem with my blower fan where it will shut down completely when I set it too fast. For instance, if I set it on max speed, it will stop blowing after 10 to 60 seconds. I can't get it to turn on in ANY way after that. I hear a click of a relay when I set it to "0" and then try to turn it on again, but it won't spin. When I then turn the engine off and start the car again, the fan will work. Also if I keep the speed low, say 30~40%, it will not stop blowing - it can work for hours at once. But then if I speed it up, it usually stops working altogether again after a few minutes. Anybody familiar with this problem? Any known fix?
Boxman
It was the resistor. Fixed.
