How To Make: Koni Adapter Brackets For Awd Cars. (Must See)

I'd be curious to see how those shocks stand up over time, with no weather protection on the shafts, all the winter salt and road grime would wear them out PDQ...

so far i have about 4 years of driving all seasons on a couple different cars without dust boots on the dampers and haven't had any problems. Its easy enough to add a dust boot though and definitely not a bad idea.

When you mount them inverted alot of the debris falls off.

S70 AWD springs are stiffer and longer than V70 AWD springs, and will provide a nice drop on a V70/850 AWD when not using nivos. Not saggy, but not high.

What happens if you used a normal XC spring without a nivo? Wouldn't that give it a decent height as well, or would it be saggy?

I did this two years ago. The ride sucked. Try going over a speed bump. The rear will shoot up and slam back down. Also tried multiple spring rates in place of the stock ones.

XC springs would be the same spring rate as he's currently springs, soft. They use Nivos too, only difference is the spring and nivomat is taller. And since the rate is the same it's still going to sag. He needs to replace the spring all with something stiffer, period! No way around it...

honestly the ride is really not bad with the stock springs, much better than the springs you sold me...

Those are definitely the ones off my car :P If you ever want to get rid of them I'd actually consider buying them back so I can do a nivo-delete myself! Would love to throw some konis in the back of my car using this method.
