Brad850
Just installed 18t/r manifold. New washers, new coolant hoses ect. These were installed with the engine out of the car so everything should be tight Coolant seems to be dripping from near the flex plate and then down onto the axle seal and then finally the bottom of the transmission. Every hose above it is bone dry and the turbo lines are dry also. The trans casing above is also dry too. The arrow points to the spot where I watched coolant form. Can anyone explain this? thesameguy
Coolant feed/return metal pipes at the turbo?
Brad850
brand new washers for both sides and both inlet and return are dry at each end. It looks like it forms in the gap between the trans and motor but that doesnt make sense...
troyhyde
You see that clamp in the center top of the picture, I would examine that hose and connection. It connects to the hard line from the turbo housing.
CBoosT5
The hoses directly above the arrow, are attached to the coolant hard pipe. The hoses are bent and usually will become brittle and leak.
