Best Video I've Ever Watched

I was watching Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations a few nights ago when he visited Saudi Arabia and he goes out to the desert to spend some time there and here was his take:

"The country is 95% desert....What do those kooky Saudis do when they want to let loose? Drive around the desert like maniacs. A hobby possible in a country where gas is less than a dollar a gallon. Saudis of all ages pursue this activity with unbridled enthusiasm. Whole families loaded into every kind of 4 wheel drive vehicle. Attempting to climb steeper and steeper dunes. It's the Saudi version of a picnic. It's fun, especially if you like feeling your head bounce off the dashboard."

Start the video at 3:49. Nothing as crazy as what Matt loaded but explains how the hooniganism in the desert is just an extension of their desert driving culture. Like Ian said, reminds me of Friday nights in Schaumburg.

You have to remember 40% of the Saudi youth population are unemployed and 80% of the employed overall work for the government. So they need something to do and when gas is cheap like it's 1985, why not?

There's a video I've seen of some Arabs drifting where the guys actually get flung from the car. Body parts everywhere. Pure fucking insanity.

i saw that last night. The severed arm landing in the highway was the best. When they showed it in slow motion i was laughing hysterically.
