Sparco Wheel And Oil Catch Can

Finally got my wheel installed, it took 4 months to get the right hub from Sparco, feels great to have it over the old stock one. Also added the oil catch can, the car does run better after adding it. No more gunk in the intake track. Also removed the charcoal canister and about four feet of vacuum line.

do you have a harness? I wouldnt run without one if i removed my airbag.

just as i wouldnt run a harness with out a cage or some sort of roll bar....

in my opinion an airbag makes no difference to what type of seat belt is used.

exactly, just try to see his progression. harness bar and no cage=broken neck in rollover.

True, cage would be safest bet in a roll over. One can only hope that it does not happen, you’re either all in with cage and harness and fire suppression system and battery cut out switch, or you drive your car stock and wish it was what you wanted. Most people are already taking a risk the moment you start modifying their car. Tell me the last person that picked their car up from the exhaust shop and didn’t drive it balls to wall down the street with a grin on their face at the sound.

And you can still run these seats without harness, and air bags have only been a standard feature on cars since the early 90’s.

Wow. I am officially old. I thought the guy was joking about having to have a harness in a street driven car just because there isn't an airbag in the steering wheel anymore, unless I missed something and that 93 850GLT sees track time. Millions and millions of people survived many years without airbags. I, however, do advocate seatbelts which once again weren't always in cars. Oh, and you don't want a cage in a street driven car either. What's the ratio of rollover to non-rollovers in accidents? I don't know I'm not an actuary, but I'm guessing very low. However, if you feel like getting a cage and get in a typical (non-rollover) accident with a cage and no helmet, you my friend are going to have a cracked skull.

I probably pissed someone off, but just my 2 cents take em for what they're worth...basically nothing. Flame away.

Oh yeah, love the Sparco. :)
