RWagin
How well do the transmissions hold up with added power of a chip, etc...
jda2000
I guess I am the only one with that paternal instinct: think about the children and safety first Heck the "R" is fun
gdizzle
Hate to be a "party pooper", but MisMy850 I thought you said you were looking for a safer car because the wife is expecting a new addition to the family.R in the V70R = Racing speed performance high risk etc, etc.If this is going to be the family car, PLEASE just get a plain V70 or the LPT, plenty of power to carry the family and stuff around. Remember the baby.... If this is going to be your car, then go for it←the GLT, T5, NAs are no safer than Rs. In fact, I would argue that the R is safer due to the AWD. jda2000
Black on black is the way to go.If you go for that one, make sure the dealer changed the t-belt at 70K.Otherwise make them do it for the same price, and you're set for another 70K miles
RWagin
Thanks for the help, I wouldn't mind saving a couple grand so I can use it to add some mods, with reliability in mind. Any one have suggestions on what should be done first, provided the belts/pulleys have been changed?are these prices good?
