I think you're making a big mistake if you go with the higher mileage...you're looking at an extra 2-3 "years" worth of extra driving miles. Doesn't matter if the 70K service has been done or not, the fact of the matter is the service is needed b/c of the high mileage...the 43K mile car won't need it for a couple of years. The higher mileage cars will have 100K on it before you know it and the 43K will only be looking at a 60K service. Offer the guy ~$1500 - $1000 less.

Plus the 70,000 mile check-up for the car is usually $1.2k....

Qhat kind of check-up is that? By McLaren Racing team?

Pleeeeeeeease, if a dealer wants to charge 1.2k for 70K mil--- run, don't walk.

T-belt

strut, shock

rotor (maybe)

even throw in SS brake lines will probably get you there, but then it's good to go for at least another 70k mil. ;)

I was just looking over the carfax of the car with 44K on it. The car was registered commercially and I noticed that the last odometer reading was in 2/2004 and it was for 43K. It appears the car has been sitting for about a year, this is not good in my opinion, especially for a Turbo. Anyone know what could have been done to this car?
