DVolvoguy850T5
Currently have this project going on. Does the green LED turn on when you turn the switch on? It could be the J relay above the gray bridged relay on the relay block fwd and above the hood release is bad. By the way, what year is your car? mojojo
The green light does not come on. The switch is tested good in one of my other cars. The car is 1996 I've tried swapping relays in the engine bay, above fuse block with no results. I didn't realize there are more relays by the hood release. erikv11
What about the J relay in the block under the dash, did you try swapping that yet?
DVolvoguy850T5
I just wrote up some installation instructions that show where everything goes. Pictures and everything. Cosmetic and Detailing section.
mojojo
I just wrote up some installation instructions that show where everything goes. Pictures and everything. Cosmetic and Detailing section. Done and done. Thanks for the info. The J relay located under the driver's kick panel was removed/missing. I replaced the relay and all works well.
