hgray14
Is the tool I see referenced for removing the fuel lines from fuel pumps specific to Volvos or will any one that I can borrow from Autozone work? I am getting a pump from a junkyard (this particular car is not worth a new pump). I can remove just the pump or the tank, with the pump in it. Which is easier to replace? AlvinL
Easy to remove just the pump. I've never used any tool. To disconnect the line is same way as the fuel filter. Push the line inwards, pull the collar outwards (to unlock) while continuing at the same time to pull the line off.
