aggarcia
My 97 850R developed this issue back in March. I am finally wanting to resolve this. The car now goes into limp mode ( 5-6 psi , no check engine light ) on a regular basis. Using my ODB scanner I see the fuel sys reads CL_Fault most of the time. If I use the scanner to reset the codes it clears the limp mode for a short while. Back in April I installed 18T, S60R manifold, OBX downpipe, ARB blue tune, and custom cat section. Before I installed the new parts, I thought I got a back tank of gas and the car went first went into limp mode. I was hoping with all parts replacement it would go away or I would see the source of this problem. When not in limp mode the car runs very well. Gas mileage has dropped 2-3 mph. The car has a full Stage 0, new OEM 02 sensor, and all the parts listed in my signature. I have searched for both limp mode and CL_Fault, but neither has given me insight to my problem. I am not sure these two items are related, but they seemed to happen about the same time. AG
MikeH
Have you ever replaced your PnP switch that on top of the tranny?
aggarcia
No, I have ever touched the PNP switch. I have not had any of the typical problems with a faulty PNP switch, so I never thought about it. Never gotten a transmission code or problem with its performance.
