atefitty
Will a ABS module with tracs work in a car that doesn't have tracs? I scavenged 2 modules from the junkyard yesterday but they both have tracs. ABS light is on and I'm having an intermittent speedo...Just wondering if anyone has tried it. Matty Moo
Yes. It has to be from a 96-98 to work though, either a 9162675 or 9140774. Your non-tracs is a 9140773 You won't have tracs though, and it's going to make the tracs noise when you lose traction.
atefitty
Cool, they look exactly the same I was just worried about the electronic differences..Didn't want to short something out in that systemi paid $54 for 2 modules so if one of them works i came out a little cheaper...If they both work I hit a home run. I used the good one on a car I'm selling. .thanks for the reply..I think I will send one in to be repaired and use the bad one from the junkyard in my 850R just so there will be one installed while I'm driving.
