Where can I pick up one of these... suds dispenser hose attachment thingies? I've been trying to find something along those lines but haven't found anything that looks like decent quality. That thing looks great for a pre-soak and or a really, really lazy wash when it's cold outside. That car turned out great, by the way.

edit: "Soap gun" looks like the search term to use... Is this what you used? http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/ZEP-PROFESSIONAL-Foam-Gun-5NTZ3?cm_sp=IO-_-Home-_-MPC&cm_vc=HPPVZ3

Hello people, I just wanted to update you on a new member to my detailing tool collection. The Flex PE14-2 rotary polisher!!! Flex for years has been dubbed "the Mercedes of polishers". The PE14-2 goes above and beyond that, and at almost 500$ you definitely get what you pay for. I will be doing a demo of this new addition this saturday on a horribly faded red 1980's Volvo 740 sedan and will post up the results..

Here it is

This is my newest detail....A 1962 Volvo P1800. This car sat for about 30 years and was is pretty bad shape outside. This diamond in the rough got some much needed TLC. Unfortunately I didn't photograph everything, I was too busy.....All polishing was completed using my new flex rotary polisher as I promised...

This polishing was done by hand as these emblems are really hard to find and removing them wasnt an option...

For this detail I Sprayed the car with Wolfs Deironizer Decon Gel and let it dwell on the paint for about 15 minutes...This loosens most of the contaminates from the paint and trim.. I then washed it with Wolfgang Auto Bath. I Polished the trim with Chemical Guys Metal Wax. Using my new Flex PE14 and 5.5 inch pads I used a combination of CGC-2(compounding stage) with a yellow Lake County pad followed by CG P40 polish with a blue Lake County pad and I finished it with Menzerna 4500 and a black Lake County pad. The paint was then protected with 1 coat of Collinite #126, 1 layer of Collinite #845 and topped of with a nice coat of Wolfgang Fuzion
