vivalavolvo
When i first got the car it came with Tethy wheels and they weren't totaly round. So on the highway i had some bad vibrations. Fast forward to now, I have 4 new wheels, tires, koni str.t shocks and sturts, kilen sport springs, bushings, mounts, and probably more then i am remembering as well as a fresh alignment. I still have a vibration at around 65-70 MPH. Any idears?95 850 T5

ErikS
Are the new wheels a stock Volvo 850 wheel or aftermarket? Might just need some hub centering rings.
andyb5
Were the new wheels+tires road force balanced?
vivalavolvo
Are the new wheels a stock Volvo 850 wheel or aftermarket? Might just need some hub centering rings. After market, and came with centering rings that fit quite snugly... but i did leave 5mm spacers in the back that i bough from autozone. Maybe i should nix them? I had them because my old tires were to wide and i never bothered to try without. Were the new wheels+tires road force balanced? I balanced them for a second time right when i put the new suspention on. What is this road force you speak of? axle maybe? I wouldnt shoot that down, but when i replaced the trans they looked/felt solid.
ErikS
Take the spaces out first, and see if that solves the problem, then go from there.
5cyl
yea if they are cheap autozone spacers that can easily cause vibrations. road force is a fancy kinda balancing that applies a load to the tire while balancing. in my experience it is def better, but even with traditional balancing the vibrations are small. nothing that would cause annoyance. I only say axle because i recently had to replace mine (broke the driver side one) and the reman from napa vibes a bit under hard acceleration and high speed.
