PyROZen Posted January 28, 2005 Report Share Posted January 28, 2005 ext amp control is probably a separate remote you can buy so you can control your gain and freq cutoff from inside the car. I would leave that wire alone and just connect the HU remote wire to the amp remote wire like Ben said.edit, btw you shouldn't have to use the ANT REMOTE either. REMOTE (from HU) or AMP REMOTE (from HU) to the AMP REMOTE (AMP).Basically Amplifier has 3 connections, one to the positive lead +12v, one negative lead -12v (marked as ground, GND), and one amplifier remote control (REM, usually in the middle between +12v and -12v).Amp Connection 101:+12v = straight from the battery-12v = straight from the car' bodyREM = straight from the HU' ANT remote or HU' amp remote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
