burnout8488
Great car - if you're not afraid to spend some bucks for repairs here and there in the future. They're gorgeous and comfortable, and I'd love one if money was no object. Just don't expect much power, that 3.2 sure is a dog. If you love it for what it is, then it's a match made in heaven. :)
elfnmagik
It's far from a dog. 850 with a N/A 5-cylinder is a dog. I think auto journalists and drivers in general have vicomte jaded over the years having driven über high powered vehicles. The 3.2 has decent pickup in normal driving conditions and is quite spirited when pushed. It's funny that just 20 years ago V8 Mustangs and Camaros put out around 200 HP and people loved me. Now the scoff at 245 HP in a lux-sports sedan. Anyways, can anyone here provide specifics of things to inspect that are known issues with the Gen 2 S80? I've got the car now and it's a cream-puff. Certified with 39kiles, 6 yr/100 k warranty, paid $23,500.
elfnmagik
Sorry for some of the misspellings and auto word substitutes. Don't see how to edit using my phone.
burnout8488
Nice warranty! Your first long trip in it is probably going to be quite comfortable and quiet. And yes, the power is all relative, especially coming from an N/A 850. I'm sure you'll love it, that straight-six is the smoothest engine in existence. (Okay, maybe not, but it's pretty damn good)
831t5r
Specific models have oil consumption issues if you get a low oil warning message take it in and get it taken care of under warranty
elfnmagik
Has it been determined how/where/why it's consuming oil? Some pics

burnout8488
Gorgeous car, what packages does it have?
elfnmagik
Not real sure, don't know what to look for to tell over base. Ill tell ya what sux though, the leather was absolutely immaculate in this car. Not even the beginning of wear showing on the drivers side bolster. I slide in sometime yesterday and my belt must have scuffed the beige coating in a tiny spot. Does anyone know if there is any touch paint of finish that can be applied? Seat covers are gonna be first on the list. Not gonna watch the same thing that happened to my 850.
