Belt Chip But Only In First Gear Wot !

Hey, I have an S40 2.0T from 2003 and usually it's fine.

The AUX pulley is flawless in Idle and even when gradually accelerating to 6.5k RPM it's extremely clean and car picks up well.

The trouble is ONLY when I try to WOT either from a stadstill or 3rd to 1st (auto box).

The noise is that of a pulley for sure.

Best described as a "wheel of fortune" spinning and causing some type of belt chirping on the way. Sometimes I only hear the pulley doing Brrrr like a non greased pulley and sometimes it's going with a belt chirp.

Again, It's hard to diagnose - Idle is perfect. Accelerating to top speed slowly is perfect.

The shock of top power in first gear shocks it.

Could this be the timing tensioner ?

The AUX tensioner is great... Everything there is noise free on Idle. Smooth as butter and sturdy.
