CorradoKid90
Hey guys i'm new to the forums, and new to volvo as well. I just picked up a 2000 v70, its a 2.4 non turbo car. I'm in need of a radiator, picked one up today and a few things aren't correct. The fittings for the trans cooler lines (i believe) are different than the ones that came with the new radiator. And there's no fitting for the line to the coolant overflow. Any ideas where i could possibly get the correct radiator or the fittings for the trans cooler lines? Any help would be much appreciated! I've read on a few other forums of similar problems and people just drilling and tapping a hole in the top corner and putting a fitting in for the overflow line. I'd rather avoid doing that.. lmk what you guys think. Thanks -tony

CorradoKid90
Thanks for the quick reply, any idea though if that particular part has the fitting up top for the overflow hose? I saw only that image for it
yangotang
you have a -1998 radiator in your hands. The accessories changed 1999+ and the radiator overflow changed at that time, which is why your new one doesn't work. http://www.fcpeuro.c...tor-s70-v70-c70 this should be correct, since the fitment guide states it is. no confirmation though, since i've never bought one from FCP. BlackJackT7
I would defiantly send it back and get the correct radiator before I would drill and tap something to work. I had the same problem, sent it back and they got it right the second time.
CorradoKid90
My thoughts exactly, just saw online that someone else had done that. Luckily i bought it locally, so no hassle with returning it.
Dan A
Luckily i bought it locally, so no hassle with returning it. Maybe. But had you got ordered it from fcp it probably would have been the right one from the start. :P
