07 S60R Factory Oil Question

My last service invoice(52.5k) says they used "OILB REGULAR 5W30" I would normally take that to mean conventional. Does anyone have dealership experience and know what this stands for? I called and one of the service advisors said they use mobil 1 synthetic blend...just doesn't sound "REGULAR" to me.

My dealer only uses synthetic, so regular would be synthetic. Only time it says something different is on the M. Either way thats why I always take my own oil.

Would you be happy if someone fed you some expired bread? Same goes with car. Spend the extra 2$ on the quart and get full syn.

Only using the quart to get me too the service interval then I'll go full synthetic
