Out of a full tank of shell v-power i only got about 300 miles until the light came on, and that was mostly freeway driving about 200 miles freeway thats about 17mpg. Is this normal? volvoskiah Posted November 15, 2012 Report Share Posted November 15, 2012 My 04R was getting terrible mileage then after a while I got a cel for the fuel pressure sensor. I bought mine for 300+ hp, 71.4 cu ft cargo space, 7 passenger, and safety. ehh ok gas mileage is fine with me. There are other things to worry myself about in life. My mileage is pretty consistent at: Country pig trails - 55mph to 63mph - 29+mpg Highway - 70mph to 85mph - 26mpg to 27mpg Stage 0 tune up at 75k, only because it was 75k, there was no degradation in mpg. I have noticed since the last oil change it needed a quart of oil ~6k after the oil change, before I've been running 10k between changes with Mobil1. Fuel pressure sensor went out at 95k. But when i use shell 91 (expensive gas) my gas mileage suck... I got a ARD tune and a catless downpipe coming next week. If gas mileage still going to act up il just go ahead and change that O2.
