But when i use shell 91 (expensive gas) my gas mileage suck... I got a ARD tune and a catless downpipe coming next week. If gas mileage still going to act up il just go ahead and change that O2. You will always getter better MPG on lower octane. 17 highway is low but also depends on speed. At 55 I get around 25mph. At 75 I get closer to 20. What speed are you driving? How much ethanol does your local area use in the fuel? We just got winterized fuel and I dropped ~15% on all my vehicles. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My recent trip to seattle and back average out to 28mpg at 70-75 mph and that is on a s40 which sbould be in the low 30 for highway. To the op i would check the o2 sensor. I just put in a ARD tune ganna see how much diff its going to make. Not sure on how much eth they use but when i use cheap gas station but 91 i get beter gas mileage then using a good gas station with 91. and i did stage 0 to the SR.
