Jack8745
I been looking for an uncracked dash for an 850 for about 7 years now. My current one is cracked all over. I know these have a tendency to fall apart and the poly engine/trans mounts don't help at all. I also have the all charcoal and no wood trim. (rare i guess) Well I finally found an almost perfect dash at a local yard and picked it up with the upper dash pad and air bag for $50. I have reinforced the areas that broke on my original so that i hopefully wont have to do this again. I used 3m fiberglass resin along with the mesh. top view almost done with cluster tabs reinforcing underneath my question is what product to use to glue the cracked defrost vents back together?. Im looking for something that can be sanded . I will paint the vent with SEM interrior paint when done. crappy pictures shows what im talking about thanks Jack
trs80
Flexible body filler may do the trick. Its made for use on plastic bumpers, can be sanded and painted.
