Ghost Shadow
lol, my full size space is taken up by three full size JL audio 12w6v3's thats in the c70 vert. In my V70R, the dead space inside the spare is taken up by a 5 gallon air tank for my train horns. In my S70 the rear deck is getting two IB-flat 8" Pionner subs, Kenwood oversized 6.5" co-axials..7" KFC-X183c speakers for the rear doors and Kenwood KFC-X1300P 5.25 fron door components, going to run it on one XR5 kenwood five channel amp. Probably going to hide that guy under the glove box. YES 5 channel amp hidden under the glove box. I would do the same thing in a C70 coupe. Except i would use the 10" or 12" behind the rear seat backs in a small custom enclosure. basically a wall up against the back. Plus i said i didnt want to get into a debate, guys my feelings dont get hurt so easily. I know we all have our different perspectives and honestly everyone's situation is different. I always tell my customers this, what is you budget for this investment and what do you want to get out of your investment. Many have Champagne and Caviar dreams on a beer and peanut budget. Here are my builds. S70: Fronts: Kenwood KFC X1300p 5.25 Hi Performance Components Rear Doors: Kenwood KFC-X183C 7" co-axial speakers Rear Deck: Pioneer IB-Flat 8" TS-SW841D Kenwood XR-5 five channel amp I would use foam 8" woofer baffles. I would install the amp under the glove box. I would choose a great Double Din, Pioneers Avhp-8400bh is a nice one, Kenwood DNx 6990HD is a decent nav unit. C70 Coupe: Tough one. If it had WORKING dynaaudio. Keep the dayum speakers and add headunit. bridge the fronts to run a center channel, Add subs to the trunk wall. 10's or 12's If some or all dynaaudio is bad, Dump it all, Same as S70 except, instead of rear deck front doors 8" Pioneer sub V70 98-00 Same as S70 except the sub would be a single 10" Pioneer TS-SwX251 under the floor in the rear as long as it doesnt have a third row. Like how i did my wifes Mini Cooper Clubman S, as shown in the following pictures. that car has spare tire under the floor, jack, umbrellas, bunch of green bags...stuff women haul around.
