gottarollwithit
So my V70XC is throwing a P0134 CEL. I replaced both O2 sensors with nice Bosch ones about 8 mo ago. Same code came up back then. What's the relationship between the MAF and the O2 sensors? I've read that it's possible that my MAF is dying, which is the reason for throwing the P0194 O2 sensor code. Is this possible? The voltage readings based on my elm327 scanner show that my O2 sensors both have voltages within range. Can anybody confirm what my MAF flow readings should be? Based on volvo forums, it's supposed to be at 14kg/hr when warm. Mine is at .56lb/hr so that's... about 25kg/hr when kinda warm. Car was on about 2 min. Any thoughts? JRL
Did you replace the 02 sensor HARNESSES? They go bad If you bought a Volvo 02 sensor the rear one actually comes with a new harness (the rear harness goes bad first, it's situated close to too much heat). Both are easy to replace
gottarollwithit
Harness? I replaced both O2 sensors - both came with about 2 or so feet of wire attached. I plugged it directly into the main wiring harness. I take it i'm looking for something in addition to the 2 feet of wiring?

gottarollwithit
Yea, the O2 sensors were nice Bosch ones that came with some looong pigtails. I remember one of them i had to fish the wire around the valve cover somehow. If this code isn't from an O2 sensor, what else could it be??? Anybody have a take on the MAF being the problem? Anybody know what the MAF flow is supposed to be?
