Kit Vexed
welcome home and thank you for your service! the sacrifices you guys make for us... start off with a "stage 0" make sure mechanically the car is sound before modifications; so stuff like spark plugs, breather system, silicone vac lines, replace soft/worn intercooler couplers, etc etc there's great info on here and many will chime in.. good luck to you sir! Ghost Shadow
what speaker are you trying to change out? since its a 8" woofer down there and a 3" mid and tweeters up a little higher. i would think you are fixing a blown woofer. i changed mine out to a oversized 6.5" from kenwood. didnt even bother drilling it out. just razor bladed it out and cut up the old speaker and used that as a bracket so i can srew the new speaker in. Leando
It's the woofer and I'm sticking with the 8 I like the sound now next ? Will I need a adapter to connect the new speakerThen I'll post pics plus it gives me time to get all the snow off my car and wash it
Ghost Shadow
if you sticking with the 8" then go to dealer and buy one. if not, you want a cheaper alternative then the kenwood oversized 6.5" is your way to go
