Ghost Shadow Posted December 28, 2012 Report Share Posted December 28, 2012 Yeah I bought the speaker already just need to install cant wait for the weekend What made u go smaller with speaker size not necessarily smaller. only slightly. why? its cheaper and faster for me to walk into my storeroom than wait for the dealer to order one and deliver it . get a cordless drill and punch it out.then you might need longer screws to get out to mount on. sorry it has been a few months since I replaced mine. since then I must have installed another two to three dozen speakers in various other cars. that's why I take pictures of my car stuff so I can remember what I did. Unless I missed it, what is the reason for changing out speakers already when you just got the car? I've never been in an R, but I thought they were pretty decent in stock form, audio-wise. Unless of course you're just looking to throw some bass in the trunk, that I can understand.
