Whenever I try to select 2 or 2.5 or anything under 4-5 on the fan level knob, it will either do it normally, or start dancing and randomly changing speeds between nothing, the selected level and max.... Sometimes it will go really wild and fan speeds will be all over the place... And sometimes it will shift a few times and stabilize on the selected level. I replaced the entire control panel and still the problem persists. Heater resistor ? What else could it be ? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Volvolation Posted December 28, 2012 Author Report Share Posted December 28, 2012 Replaced with a used but tested unit ! I am sure it is 100% ok. I also tried to resolder the fan speed switch on the last unit to no success so something else might be going on here ! I just bought a new transistor and will be soldering it to the resistor unit and see if that works..... as suggested on the other forum any other causes besides that ?
