vivalavolvo
Hey, So my ABS light comes on now and then, mostly when wet out. No big deal, but the other day the ABS took over on a perfcectly sunny dry day with a mild at most stop. I think one of my wheel sensors are bad and i was wondering if there was a way to figure out wich one? 1995 855T5
Matty Moo
Pull the codes from the dtc box under the hood. Much easier than speculating or checking everything by sight.
vivalavolvo
This is what i thought, will the codes be available even when the light is not on?
AlvinL
Yes. Probably the sensor wheel is dirty so the abs sensor is not picking up the individual teeth as it rotates past. You'll know which one after reading the codes.
vivalavolvo
Alright, thanks! My buddy had a similar problem with his 93 240, we tried cleaning it all, but he didnt care enough so we pulled the fuse and warning light lol.
