vader70 Posted January 16, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 16, 2013 Drove the car today. I gotta be honest I'm not sure I feel about it. Too soon to tell. The car definitely drives different. Seems like it helps in upper rpm range. Low rpm its suspect for more lag. One thing I noticed is the car became louder. I can hear the Turbo spool louder along with the exhaust. Maybe I'm smoking something but seems louder than before. Anyone else install this kit. I would love to hear what others felt about their fmic. Now I wish I dynoed the car. Damn. You have any other mods on the car?? I noticed huge improvments in the spool department with my full exhaust and Snabb intake pipe... Much better breathing... vader70 Posted January 17, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 17, 2013 Between two guys farting around,but with access to lift and all tools needed about three to four hours. I was familiar with removing the bumber so that shaved some time. Also as noted by snabb, the sas has to be deleted. Overall the kit fit nicely and without issues. A little snug by the AC but doable. My car has a few mods including full exhaust by obx and new 19t Also have a snabb j pipe. Would you mind popping your hood and trying to get a couple shots of the squeeze past the AC, and if possible of the underside going into the intercooler? I would appreciate it.
