dimka18 Posted January 19, 2013 Report Share Posted January 19, 2013 Hey, got an 04 s60r with 115k mile, i was driving today and in 1st gear around 2k rpm car just started jerking and boost gauge kept jumping from 0 to -21 like the throttle body was closing and opening. And it kept doing that for about 5 secs until i let off the gas. This happened to me before and only happens in 1st gear. Is it possible my throttle body is on its way out? Ihatespeedbumps Posted January 20, 2013 Report Share Posted January 20, 2013 You can access it by removing the charge pipe from the intercooler to the throttle and then get to the 4 bolts from underneath. This is a great opportunity to clean and replace the PCV system if it's never been done, which will require intake manifold removal, but you clean the throttle at the same time and you won't have to worry about this for another 100k at least. dimka18 Posted January 23, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 23, 2013 Was driving on the highway today with 2 more people oin the car, was in 5th gear and car just started jearking everytime i would give it gas.
