Best Wheels Ever On A Volvo 850R!

I was starting to think about selling the pride and joy of my car. 18x8 polished forged aluminum three piece HRE performance wheels. With brand new bfgoodrich g-force tires, 235/35ZR18. You will need rolled fenders to fit these. Now, I thought I would never do it, but I would entertain an offer on these if someone wants to be the one with the best wheels ever put on a Volvo 850R. If you don't know what these wheels cost new don't ever both trying to make an offer, if you know the quality of these and have lusted after the perfect wheel but could never even dream of the price tag now is your once in a lifetime chance to own the most pimp wheels ever.

This is the first set of tires ever mounted on the wheels and they literally have minutes on them, the tires have just a couple marks from fender rub, pre-rolled fenders. The wheels are perfect, no curb rash, no dents, just need to be loved. I won't even ask for a price I'll just say best offer gets them and if it isn't close to 6/10ths of the retail price I will probably just keep them. Who has a fat wallet and wants the best? Consider this a feeler, pm me if you are not a tire kicker.

I think even feelers of this nature also belong in the fs section and not off topic.

??

They are not for sale because I don't think anyone will actually pony up for these. But, figured I would bounce the idea out there in OT for anyone bored and trying to dream up ways to spend. I might have a buddy who wants 'em but wanted to at least mention to the Volvo lovers out there.

If you want people to even take you seriously then better photos of said wheels including an actual description that includes the wheel model name - so they could say cross search and price compare - would help the potentially interested but less wizardly versed in HRE complexities decide if it's even worth opening a line of conversation on said round objects.

And I agree with Rob. Opening a conversation on possibly for sale but not really certain unless someone wants to pay me an approximation of what I believe they are worth wheels belongs in the FS thread.

Or as Gary would say, everything is always for sale. It's just a matter of price.

i gave up after the pics i was trying to compare seemed to look like several different models. Not to mention on my 13" monitor it was starting to get aggravating with two windows open and zooming in on the picture. I also usually stay away from people who say things like (best X in the world), since it usually means they have unusually high expectations of the price.

Having sat on an equally mint set of 3-piece forged 5x108 HRE's for the better part of 6 months, I can tell you that you won't get anywhere near 60% of retail price. That's just not a reasonable expectation. Not a bash on you but that's just the market. Then again, all it takes is one interested buyer, so I suppose YMMV.

If you're willing to wait, maybe 30-40% of original MSRP is possible. If you're in a hurry to sell, 25% is more like it.

Good luck with the sale.
