rmorse
I also usually stay away from people who say things like (best X in the world), since it usually means they have unusually high expectations of the price. http://forums.swedespeed.com/showthread.php?187113-My-2000-V70R-probably-the-finest-in-the-world-36-000-miles

Über855R
Would love them, but even not knowing a price I know they are too rich for my blood. A very sensible opinion. Also, true for almost everyone who posted here.Having sat on an equally mint set of 3-piece forged 5x108 HRE's for the better part of 6 months, I can tell you that you won't get anywhere near 60% of retail price. That's just not a reasonable expectation. Not a bash on you but that's just the market. Then again, all it takes is one interested buyer, so I suppose YMMV. If you're willing to wait, maybe 30-40% of original MSRP is possible. If you're in a hurry to sell, 25% is more like it. Good luck with the sale. Thanks for the constructive response. Truthfully I don't mind if nobody wants them. I am considering putting them on and just running them daily. It seems like a waste to let them sit. Just figured I would give someone a chance if they really wanted to get a set, before I drive on them until they are not perfect any more.AND..for some reason they don't want them even though they are so awesome My reason is fairly obvious. I could use the money for other things. Although for 25% of the cost I would rather make them into a coffee table and rest my drinks on them rather than sell.ill give you 150 plus shipping for them... these would look great painted silver. You must be a monkey glory hole hypnofrog.Lol, no respect for an on old school wheel and VS member. It's all good, some peoples kids were just never taught respect. I imagine hygiene is lacking with some of them as well. Agreed... Too chromie like a homie haz on da eskalade..... Canistos are sick though First of all. Polished aluminum. Second, if you are even talking about canistos in the same thread as HRE's a mod should give you a 1hr ban just on principle. When I was younger I used to drool over HRE'S when i saw them on Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche cars. Looking at the price online I dreamt of being able to afford a set some day. When I thought I finally had the list price in hand I realized it was listed as price per wheel, so I bought iforged. Later when I actually had the opportunity to get a set I did. One of those childhood dreams realized. If you never had similar dreams then these wheels are not for you. But if you lust after these things like I once did this could be your chance. A little extra info. They fit both the WP and Porsche BBk without spacers, probably any others also. Perfectly machined to 850 hubs so no hub centric spacers required. Polished aluminum, three piece with the hidden hardware, aka, hardware bolted from the back of the face of the wheel. Apparently NA game has a set also so two people could be HRE pimpin with their Volvo.
optimus prime
Lol sorry man like i said they may be high quality but in my opinion are not very nice looking. I would rather a set of nebs or thors.
adamjjohn203
I know you are not supposed to muck up a for sale thread but this isn't in the for sale section...... HRE's in general are beautiful......however these HRE's on a Volvo.....not so much. Setup looks cheap even though they are very expensive.
gilber33
I agree. The wheels are not great looking, at all. And the comments about how they're so expensive and no one will ever be able to afford them are stupid. This is by far the worst attempt at trying to sell something I have ever seen. You're acting like these wheels were ejaculated out of the Wheel Gods or something, they're just a set of HRE's that happen to be in 5x108. Which you think is awesome for some reason, however, is probably THE worst lug pattern to ever have a set of wheels in that you are trying to sell. Your market went from 100% of the wheel market down to 1% of the wheel market. /end

You can even pull a jim move and ask something outrageous... But to tell people they can afford them just because you really dont want to sell them for market value is high on the douche-baggery meter.. you never know some one like kev who will sell his sister for some HRE's might have the cash stashed away. With that being said... Good luck with the non-sale
