Not sure which I will get yet (I really don't need all that fancy crap), but I will be doing something... In a few months when I have money again. P.S.: After a month of ridiculously slow and unhelpful correspondence with Grom, I finally got tired of messing it and got them to issue me a RMA today! Woot. More $ for a new stereo! GOD DAYUM..this radio sounds make my speakers sing!! Ghost Shadow Posted February 27, 2013 Report Share Posted February 27, 2013 on the real, is there any advantage to upgrading if you dont want a screen? there are plenty of units that are good. here is the problem you will find when shopping for a headunut. higher end/full featured packed single din is coming in at $350-400 ugly dash pocket under the single din radio in all of our volvos double din entry 1/2 decent units non screen are $150-250, and there only a select few, pioneer and kenwood only have 1 entry level double din screens are starting at $250 decent single din price is so close to double din but double din has less features decent double din screen cost about the same as a higher end single cd double din dvd now is more attractive with bells and whistles(eye candy) thats where the problem comes in, athetics, pricing is so close from single to double din to double din screen. then there is me that wants the one with all the options LOL Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
