Hey Jeff, I know this is "apples and oranges", but I run 225/45/17's on Satellites with the lowered '96 854 with Eibachs. Minimal rubbing up front, with no rubbing in the rear and no spacers. The 215's are gone, but I picked up a set of 225/45/17's and since we buy all our tires through the shop at Tire Rack, I even save a few more bucks. I mount and balance tires at my place, so when you phsyically touch the tires like i do. You will notice differences in construction. Me being a SNOB about things is because i am exposed to it all the time. Maybe i am a SNOB LOL....demios wants $61 fuzion tires and i just put on $188 bridgestone RE070....dayum i wasted 3x's the amount of money. I've had potenzas, and they're a good tires, but so far my fuzions have been just as good, they mounted and balanced fine, and there wasn't anything on the inside to indicate they were any weaker. You're paying more money for the bridgestone name than you are for the tire itself. But if you've got piles of cash to blow on a brand name, might as well. I know your business is primarily electronics, but if you sell quite a few tires you really should ask about wholesale pricing. I admit the Tire Rack prices listed on there website are very good, but I just checked the price on the Bridgestone RE070 tires you installed, and the wholesale price is about 10% less.
