BurgerBob
Lol its cool man i have stock in my rides yeah right now but im quite positive your 901 isnt all that great buddy. i bet you could spend 150-200 bucks on a head unit and get something that is leaps and bounds better, but its all about what makes you happy man . Enjoy your 15 year old tech just like vinyl im sure its got that vintage sound. I just know the first piece of audio equipment i would buy is a good head unit made recently. Vinyl is definitely better with the equipment to support it.
optimus prime
Vinyl is definitely better with the equipment to support it. i believe that is a matter of opinion. digital is more accurate unless somehow i have been completely misinformed. vinyl does have a "warmer" sound though. so better sound is really subjective unless youre looking at accuracy in sound recording and reproduction. i do love vinyl though. Piston Slapper
LOL Yeah they don't, coupes sound amazing IMO, I have 2 of them now. Also does your moms have a SC816? Cause SC816s suck ass and kill the quality of Dynaudio, you need a 901 to unleash the sound. It's got the 901.

Yellow95
It's got the 901. Yeah, I believe that one. Did your child molester tech school teacher tell you that?
mune237
the problem with some folks here posting, and a real pet peeve of mine....they don't know what they print. I'm so tired of folks posting, with no experience in the subject. Especially when they argue what they do not know

RI-T5
Probably gonna catch flak for this, but I put that stupid 901 radio with amp and center speaker dash pad in my fathers 98 SE T5. The dolby sucks. The disc changer sucks. The factory speakers, frankly, suck. In 98 that must have been dope sh!t cuz zomg I don't have to climb in the trunk to put CD's in my 6 disc changer anymore. It has its moments of brilliance with CD's...if you can get them to work. My 3 year old old clarion with mix matched sony and alpine speakers in my 850 has more nut. Sorry to hurt feelings but even back then I'd say the mach 460 kicked its arse. To be honest I've owned numerous Volvos and all of the stereos are meh to say the least As for the 8" subs, do it up if I had an S70 I would it beats having cumbersome subs in the trunk. If your running a separate amp then you shouldn't have any issues just use that LLC I've used them in friends cars without preamps and you couldn't tell the difference in my opinion. OR just get a new deck (what I would do)
mune237
When I first got my c70vert w/ the 11 speaker Pro-Logic system, my plan was to ditch it for my normal set-up (Alpine or Kenwood Ex HU-, seperates, w/ sub, and appropriate amp(s) When I first got it running, the rear subs weren't working, I didn't have my USA-SPEC ipod adapter connected, and no eq Now that the subs are workling, eq is set, my ipod rocks! I can live with this set-up for awhile, and spend my money in other areas. I know aftermarket is the way to go for us audiophiles, but this system does real well for the money and being 13yo NOTE: I had (2) 8" JBL subs in the rear deck of my 67 Camaro. So I'm sure the same would sound great in a S70 NOTE2: I'm very impressed with these subs, especially in my Silverado They are VERY MUSICAL, not just bump-bump http://subsolutions.com/
Piston Slapper
Yeah, I believe that one. Did your child molester tech school teacher tell you that? It's not that hard to read the number on the front of a radio, I bet even you could do it. Also, what's with you and child molesters? Some incident in your childhood you should be working out with a therapist instead of a internet forum?
