S70NA
Anyone ever have this issue? I went to drive the car up some ramps using two footed driving, both pedals slightly depressed, and the vehicle went into a "blank mode" with no response whatsoever. It drives normally otherwise. This is a 99 S70 NA Base No Mods. 2.4L w/AT. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

831t5r
With the brake pedal applied and stepping in gas did rpms move or rev? Brake pedal always over rides the accelorator
James A Sousa
Try using your emergency brake, keep the button in. You can try this in the parking lot, you don't have to wait until you are using the ramps again.
jschaefer7406
With the brake pedal applied and stepping in gas did rpms move or rev? Brake pedal always over rides the accelorator Not unless it's an N/A thing. I've power jacked my '00 AWD before, RPM's rise as normal... S70NA
Hey Guys, thanks for the responses. The tachometer does not move at all with scenario stated. With e brake on and no brake pedal, the car responds under throttle. There are T5s and 2.4Ts all around me and none of them had ever witnessed this. JRL: No CELs. I will look into the brake switch and if that is good, then the ETM. Just noticed the extended warranty for the ETM just before typing this. Thanks.
