atefitty
bent rod.. Wouldn't I loose power from a bent rod?It isn't a spun rod bearing. What did you do on the trip home? I got on it a few times, 3rd gear pulls.

Timbo Slice
Just for a heads up, this is EXACTLY what my motor sounded like when I jumped timing at Christmas time.

Dick Dastardly
When you "got on it" a few times in third what were your psi readings at what rpms? And be honest...it isn't going to change the fact that you may have bent rods..
Timbo Slice
DID it damage the valves? Mine did not damage any valves. I had it retimed and threw on a new belt and it was right as rain. It had jumped 4 teeth.

Mine did not damage any valves. I had it retimed and threw on a new belt and it was right as rain. It had jumped 4 teeth. You also had snow and ice jammed up inside the t-belt cover. I guarantee you that OP did not jump timing simply by doing a couple of 3rd gear WOT pulls. He bent a rod.
Zappo
I would say bent rods also, but it depends on what your setup is and what happened during these pulls.
