lookforjoe
Congrats on getting the car back! Don't forget to swap the ancillary bracket over - you can't mount the old PS/AC/ALT to the newer bracket. You will have to notch the timing cover for the old tensioner as well. Unless you use the old style small breather box, the alt long bolt needs to be reversed or you cannot access the alternator without first taking off the (newer style) breather box. Dipstick also has to be swapped over. You already installed the early Cam sensor? Can see in your one pic that the int cam has been counterdrilled for the rotor plate, presuming you did the cam sensor plate at the same time. Get a new upper torque mount with the round insert - that way when it goes bad you can insert a round poly bushing.

I'm using the old style pcv and aux bracket! I add to trim the timing cover a bit but the final result is really clean! I also installed an ''R'' fuel rail cover (I had to trim the bottom since the manifold runner are not at the same place and I had to trim the right side in order to get the throttle cover on). Brickbox8398
I'll never understand why ppl go through the hassle of making their cars better/more fun, then selling them quickly thereafter.... Good read, best of luck. EXACTLY! You're wayyy better off getting your money and efforts worth by keeping the car and enjoying it. I'm in the same position with mine right now and i couldn't imagine selling it after all the blood sweat and tears i've put into it the past 2 years. marco bolduc
Finally up and running! after passing the weekend struggling with a damn p0340! after testing with a new cam sensor, I redid a part of the engine harness. finally it was the ECU I borrowed from a friend that was short on the cam sensor inner circuit! I removed the Climate controle module and dropped in a 850 turbo ecu and it runs with no problems! I did a couple of miles on the new setup, did'nt boost over 10psi since I don't have my tune yet.
