Matty Moo
Mounting the torque converter to the trans in a 2000xc. Now...I have the torque converter on but I don't know the exact specs for the space between the flexplate mounting bolt flanges on the torque converter and the face of the transmission housing. I know on the earlier FWD automatics it's .55", but not sure about this one. If anybody could help, that would be swell.
Ihatespeedbumps
Don't know the spec, but if you post a picture I'll tell you if the torque converter is in far enough.

I appreciate it, I figured it out right after you posted that. The yard we got the trans from just put the torque converter loosely on the output shaft screwing up the splines in the converter ever so slightly. Luckily we had a spare from when we did Dan's manual swap, popped it right on with no issues. Only took about one minute to find that spot where it bottoms out.
