t8fanning
I know lowering AWDs is a pain. But I came across these springs that say they are specifically for AWDs. I wasn't aware of any springs other than TMEs. Does anyone have any experience with these, or even know if they fit? http://www.raceinspired.com/p-19598-hr-sport-springs-volvo-v70-awd-with-self-leveling-1993-1999.aspx
lookforjoe
AWD springs are straight coils unless its just a generic pic
t8fanning
Hmmm. That's interesting. I don't trust it, but I'll email them.
NM Evan
let me know what you hear, I want the TME springs but there's no way in hell I'll pay 450 for them.

Honeyman
I got a set a few years ago, then complained to the company that their part description was wrong. Had the fronts in, but no go on the rears as you already know. They offered a refund for all, but I didn't want to have to pull fronts out again, so the rears are sitting in the barn. I'm a little surprised that they haven't edited that! Finally added drop foolers on the rear a few weeks ago... but that mod is cosmetic at best. CabanaFoghat
I've been thinking about doing lowering springs on just the front of my V70R since it's riding high on Bilsteins. Did it look weird? Too much rake?
Honeyman
Too much rake is subjective, however I would suggest that it is too rakey for this crowd....(with all due respect, of course!) This is from last year and is fairly reflective of the look with the HRs up front and stock rear. And then from a couple of weeks ago

The first picture does have a little too much rake for me, but with the drop bolts it looks gooooood.
CabanaFoghat
I think it's pretty good. I don't like my cars to be slammed anyway.
