dimka18 Posted April 13, 2013 Report Share Posted April 13, 2013 Hey, Today i did an oil change fired the car up and let it run for about 10 min, then i can hear like the engine is having a hard timing running sounds like its trying to stall, Vac jumped up to about -12 -15 instead the normal -21 -22. Few min later dummy light comes on. I pull the code p0016. I checked my timing belt (changed 5k miles ago) seems to be in good alignment. Delete the code and let the car run again, Ran good for about 10 min then started running the sameway. No dummy light, plugged in my code scanner pulled code p0017 this time. All this started happening after todays oil change. Car drives fine and revs fine, only idles rough and some rattling noises. Right when i fire the car up i can hear that same rattle then theres a clocking sound and it goes away. What can keep throwing the codes? Camshaft or Crank sensor? dimka18 Posted April 14, 2013 Author Report Share Posted April 14, 2013 This has happened to me about 6 months ago, but it went away. Yesterday started doing it again.
