Boxpin On The Dyno

No idea what the brand is. I saw a car on Craigslist that was selling the front bumper. I noticed a FMIC behind it and worked out a sale for it. The owner didnt even know it was there (obviously not the original owner). It fits up tight and just clears below.

20psi...did you paint or change your front spoiler? Where you there? I think I was parked right next to you but didnt put 2+2 together.

out of curiosity, when does your meth start spraying?

Nice, your car sounded so healthy on the dyno. I think the whole party stopped for a minute when the throttle started. Thoroughly Impressed with your car and those numbers. Has me thinking about meth injection. I did get my ARD black tune dialed in nicely, the drive home was fun. I made an Audi DTM S4 avant extremely upset.

Also, it was very nice to meet you and chat. You are a nice guy with a heck of a nice Volvo. Looking forward to next time.

I parted(stripped and sold in peices) ways with the 855 quite some time ago. Kyle did send me a picture of the car i believe you are referencing, black with chrome alfards?

Have you watched the boost around 5500? What are you using for boost control?

In addition I really wish I could have been ready by the dyno day etc, I finished the car that night and did the fuel pump and got the maf dialed in the next day.

Boost is managed by the Black tune and the ARD TCV. I can feel it every time I begin to boost its like your taking your foot off the throttle for a sec then it goes.

Hah, I was doing my catch can right up to the point I left for the dyno. Stayed up till 11:30 the night before replacing the breather, then the car wouldnt start so I worked on that on Sat morning. Turned out I had pinched the cam pickup wire. Didnt think I was going to make it.

I thought about dynoing also, but as you saw I was working on my car most of the party. :lol:

Yea, maybe switching up the boost control method to a manual or after market electronic setup would be your best bet. Although it is probably possible to get it to work correctly on the current setup, its hard without them being able to change the tune and see the results immediately

I have a message out to Lucky about the dip. I am suspicious of the wastegate. Looking forward to his thoughts and thank you for your suggestions. Soaking it all in.
