Every other aspect of the radio works, CD, etc. She took it to the dealer (doh!) and they wanted $1200 for a new HU, that was their only solution. Anyone have any ideas? Jasonjwilson Posted June 16, 2013 Report Share Posted June 16, 2013 unfortunately the tuner is internal in the radio. and the radio is downloaded to the vehicle. you can go to the I believe is the Left rear C-pillar. remove the trim and inspect the antenna connection. We use to install small brass strips in the connector at the antenna and suprised it actually helped alot. AM is a dead horse, you never know when you will get a good signal but FM should be clear.
