BRETT! uve been called upon! oh wow this is my chance to take all my money from the summer and do alot to my car and show it all off at the MIDCONTINENT meet. so NW guys we have to get as many people as we can, grab my gas card, some rock stars, 4-5 MINIDV tapes, a few cameras, mass batteries, and a 2-way and im set. and maybe a few joke items. wow this would be my high lite of the summer. Or better yet, I'm not too far from Interstate 84 that would be taking up West so we could meet up around me. That goes for like NorthEast Canadians as well. ontheheel Posted February 5, 2005 Report Share Posted February 5, 2005 definitley late july or early august, and definitley midwest or great plains. dallas, fort worth, little rock, even new orleans maybe, oklahoma city, tulsa, kansas city, st louis, or maybe even denver.for the music guys, when is south by soutwest? i honestly have no clue when that happens, but i think it would be cool to coordinate the meet so that we could go to sXsw at the same time. Austin is a pretty cool town. or even san antonio. they are a bit of a drive, but i think still worth it, my top picks are new orleans or san antonio just because they are both pretty cool towns (i figure if a long drive is going to be made, it might as well be to a cool town). otherwise, st louis works, or any of the other ones. Not like when I was a pontiac guy, that the midwest was FULL of them (owners/enthusiasts) almost all the enthusiasts are at one coast or the other.Be intresting though, try hitting up all the message boards and Lee Cordner of VCOA if you can get some steam going. However, I think it can be done, as long as people like stickthatclutch don't rain on the parade with "I don't like driving that far".... Come on man! This would be a long drive, and would also be a at least 5 day trip total. This means people have to know well before in advance in order to schedule work off and the like. I would love to go though... makes it easier when you have 10 guys from the area rolling with you though. Thanks NW crew!! We are the bomb!
